Today we honor the memory of those who lost their lives on September 11, 2001. As we remember that day, we also remember the way our nation came together in unity and support. Former President Barack Obama once said, "Even the smallest act of service, the simplest act of kindness, is a way to honor those we lost, a way to reclaim that spirit of unity that followed 9/11." Let us honor those we lost by serving and showing kindness to those around us. Let us work together to create a world that is more just, peaceful, and loving. May we never forget the heroes of that day and the spirit of unity that brought us together.
